Day 2, Salzburg "The Hills are Alive"

We started the day with a nice complimentary breakfast at the hotel. We had yoghurt and muesli. Then we headed out to two Mozart museums: Mozart’s birth house (weird) and Mozart’s family’s apartment. After a lunch at an Italian restaurant the big group split apart. We climbed with a few others to the top of a hill with a beautiful view of the river, city, fortress, and Alps. It was a clear day and it was warm in the sun. Then we went shopping and had dinner at one of Rick Steves’ favorite restaurants in Salzburg. Tomorrow we leave this picturesque town for the big city.
Gina wants to know how her dogs are doing. She is reminded of them every time she sees an Austrian dog (called ‘Hund’). Suzan, does the E.B. need to place an order for items from Austria? Yes, Thomas is wearing his coat, though he might not be wearing it in all the pictures.

The two furry babies are fine. The little one sits at my feet while I am working. The big one has commandeered Shadow's new $60 bed. The house is full of people and doggies - today, Bear comes for the day, too. All the Canadians except the Pezzoli Canadians are sick. I wish you would say more about what you are having to eat. And how good your German is. Have you seen any trains?
