We're having such a fun day here. We started with a great breakfast.
We waited about 3 years for the the Ikea in Charlotte to open, which it finally did in February. Then we had to wait to go until we both had a day off. Today it happened and we went!
The last time we went to Ikea, in Toronto, we got a little carried away. We bought so much stuff that it didn't all fit in the car, and we had to leave some of it in Canada for Katrina to bring down later. This time we set a $20 budget each.... and we stuck to it. This is most of what we bought. There is some other stuff that is hidden...
Meaghan, we got you such a cute birthday present!!
And this package was waiting here for us when we got home. It was full of amazing exotic treats from Hawaii. Mahalo, Daniel and Elizabeth!

It's probably good that you waited a while to go to IKEA. When the Orlando store opened, it was wall-to-wall people for the first 2 months.
